When I first registered the
Emotionography URL, I was disappointed that the ".com" suffix was
taken. I thought I made the word up back in the early eighties and
was surprised it had been used a few times. But as time goes
by, I consider it fate. I want
emotionography to be a '.net" - a network of artists coming
together to create something wonderful. My sincerest thanks to those who
have contributed their art!
If you can't remember
Emotionograpy.net, use
PoetryMan.net
Site
Layout
The best way to start is at
Begin at a Random Page.
Notice changing images on the entry
page and tables of contents.
(It's kind of fun to hit the refresh button and watch the artwork
change.)
The three books are all the poetry in the order
they were written. Navigate from poem to poem using the links at the bottom of the pages
(<PREV PAGE and
NEXT PAGE>);
with a return to the table of contents. The links at the top are set up
as follows: Introduction in the top left
hand corner brings you to this page or if you're on a particular
poem, the Jerry Browning link will take you to an about the author page.
The
Emotionography link in the top
right takes you to the site's entry (home) page.
If you're looking for a particular poem, use the
credits page as an alphabetical table of
contents
Collaborations
Wanted
As you peruse the site, you'll see each poem has
one or two images and an audio track (that can play video) associated with it. If you would like to
submit a recitation (.mp3), a piece turned into a song, an animation,
or other artwork, please send them to
jerry.browning@gmail.com
. I don't mind looking at an artists' gallery of work and trying to
match a piece. If a poem already has collaboration, don't
hesitative to send something you feel goes with it. I don't
mind using both. Note the links back to the contributing
artist's profiles.
