Dance Demon
  JERRY BROWNING

 NAKED DREAMS

Dance Demon

tingling demon in my chest
i fight to keep at bay
you come to me in frightening dreams
and wake me in a rage

each time i find some peace of mind
you show up at my door
with wicked arrows from my lips
attacking what i adore

but this time i will fend you off
i've come too far to turn
i'll cast you in the fiery pit
and revel as you burn
dance you sorry bastard, dance!
