Star Shell
  JERRY BROWNING

 ..FOLLOWING SEAS

Star Shell

CHORUS
i want to be a shooting star
sail the galaxies
find a better way of life
i know there has to be
some kind of door or black hole
into the other side
a land where all the old stars go
and no one ever cries

physics take me far away
i cannot take the pain
people are such cosmic waste
this planet’s gone insane

CHORUS

there’s war on every continent
there’s hunger in the street
atomic bombs aimed everywhere
i cannot get to sleep

CHORUS

waving bye to mother earth
tears run down my face
gravity let’s go of me
i break the plane of space

Norfolk, Virginia ‘86
