Total Eclipse
  JERRY BROWNING

 BROKEN COMPASS

Total Eclipse

grim grows the west wind
fire and ice rain
like lover’s games

cold shoulders shiver
when will the sun come
out of the clouds

planetary pressure
dominates our dominion
who’ll push the button
and reset the clock?

Houston, Texas ‘82
