Exorcism
  JERRY BROWNING

 BROKEN COMPASS

Exorcism

everyone says
i’m getting too old
to be an angry young man

white hot pain
pulses
inside my chest
an amphetamine
pumping my blood

so i grind iron…
a two hour vigil
fantasizing the destruction
of every frustration

pushing

            straining

                        draining

my black leather soul
